Former Pakistan cricket team captain, Shahid Afridi, is mourning the loss of his sister, who passed away on Monday night. She had been receiving treatment at a private hospital in Karachi.

The heartbreaking news was conveyed by Mushtaq Afridi, Shahid’s brother, who shared the news on social media, stating, “Surely we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. With heavy hearts, we inform you that our beloved sister has passed away, and her Namaz-e-Janazah will be offered today at 1 pm Zuhur prayer at Zakariya Masjid, 26th Street, DHA Phase 8.”
